Rumour has it that the judicial powers of PAS officers are about to restored, or already restored in case I don't know about it. Can anyone from civil service answer me?

Yes there are fair chances
So i was going through this news in DAWN. There appears to be a fair chance that judicial powers are going to be restored which were snatched by Musharraf in 2001

It's still under consideration, PM hasn't approved it yet. Most likely they will be restored as judiciary is unable to solve cases quickly, and cases are stacking up; if this happen it will reduce pressure on judicial system.

PAS officers still enjoy judicial / magisterial powers in AJK, GB and some parts of KPK. CCI has accepted in principle the revival of executive magistracy but the issue is still pending because of political turmoil and uncertainty in the country.
One restored, judicial powers will result in good governance and better services delivery |
