thanks for you valuable assistance sir. does a PAAS officer get an official vehical? if yes then which one and if NO the who would they manage to come to office?
lastly i want to ask that is PAAS good enough to be placed at 4th preferance after POLICE, DMG, & CUSTOM?

these days all grade 18 officers normally get vehicles in islamabad, karachi, quetta and karachi .... however, in lahore some grade 18 officers dont have official cars....

recently, government has changed staff car rules and no new govt vehicles are being bought, so I think in next 5-7 years, there will be no official cars for all departments, except PSP

I think DMG, PSP, IRS, PAAS should be a choice.... customs is a dying cadre and in future 90% officers in customs will be retiting in grade 19

Sir what is logic or fact behind your prophecy about customs? Dont you think that customs officers would be retired in grade 18 or even in grade 17? :dd:dd
Because i know there is nothing like the way you presented.

[B]Nauman shb is right.. ever since sales tax have been given to Income Tax, Customs have became not a dying cadre i would say, but its importance as compared to Income Tax has significantly reduced. Income Tax now deals with much wider issues then customs. Secondly promotions in PCS are not better then IRS.. its same[/B]
