Question
aoa sir...

We are 4 Customs probationers in 39th CTP.what ,ll be duration of our STP?any change in duration that is normally 6 months?

@RANA SAHAB, sir the strength of customs cadre is too much so how long it takes for promotion in customs after creation of IRS? Also scholarships r available to custom officers as well?

At present promotion of customs is slower than that of IRS but four new directorates, afghan transit, automation, intellectual property rights, valuation have been approved in recent finance act. also separate collectorate for GB has also started working since 1st july so promotion issue ,ll be solved in a year.
Customs officer strength is 400 only and it is very smart cadre especially compared with IRS whose strength is 1200 to 1300.
lastly there is no specific scholarship for any group in FBR, you have to MANAGE them through different means..
