Smile Rewards For Customs Officers Revived.

Cash Rewards for officers of customs have been revived and a notification in this regard had been issued & implemented since November 2012 under title "Customs Rewards Rules 2012".These rewards were discontinued for quite sometime.

It will be an encouragement & great incentive for officers. Its main points are,
1. Cash rewards (out of total duties & taxes detected or value of confiscated goods) for officers of Pakistan Customs Service on

a. Detection of cases involving evasion of duties, taxes, confiscation of goods
b. Displaying of exceptional services in anti smuggling operations & recovery of arrears
c. Rendering meritorious services in normal course of duties.

2. Cash rewards for Informers (whistleblowers)

Any person or group of person providing vital information evidence leading to successful detection, inquiry, audit, prosecution of cases.

Dear Dr Adnan, Assalamu Alaikum!
Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu. May Peace and blessings be upon you. I am a new member on your thread as I have recently joined CSS forum but I had been following it for many years. I am a final year MBBS student of Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) and I will be done with my degree by February 2014 In Shaa Allah. So, basically I am not looking forward to carry out my residency as I prefer to prepare for CSS 2014. I have some queries for you and I hope that you will respond to them as soon as you have time to. Q1. Is it true that In PCS as compared to PSP,FSP,DMG promotion is after an experience of 5 years but one in PCS gets promoted after a span of 8,9 or a decade, Please enlighten us with your valuable comments. I am looking Forward Towards Your Kind Response. Best,
