Sir, I am a computer science student and I ought to know what it takes to score enough in CSS and join PSP. I would really appreciate any helpful tips in context of preparation based on your personal experience.

Work environment is very tough.
i recommend only those should join police who have aptitude for it. otherwise life would be very difficult. Its full time/24.7 job. So forget about family and friends, tours and parties.

I want to know that are these facilities same for an officer in police lines ?
In addition , how many times an ASP is posted in field and what is the criteria ?
Someone told me that an SP cannot even change an inspector . Is that true or not ?
