Perks and privileges vary from province to province. Usually an asp gets one Toyota veigo/jeep and one car for family+6 to 8 gunners and drivers+ a cook+ orderlies+ 60k plus salary + furnished office+ and in most stations furnished accommodation as well... off course boss/dpo does matter, how he facilitates and keeps you.
Above all recognition and respect....
Promotions
4 yrs total service promoted to SP
10 yrs.....ssp
15 to 17 yrs DIG
Above that is usually discretion based promotion system.

Dear, It means you are enjoying all these perks yourself.

Waseem Riaz Khan Tuesday, August 30, 2016 03:29 PM

@Hamza Khan
every asp gets almost all the perks and privileges mentioned.
Work environment is very tough.
i recommend only those should join police who have aptitude for it. otherwise life would be very difficult. Its full time/24.7 job. So forget about family and friends, tours and parties.

I want to know that are these facilities same for an officer in police lines ?
In addition , how many times an ASP is posted in field and what is the criteria ?
Someone told me that an SP cannot even change an inspector . Is that true or not ?
Waiting for your reply
