at starting pay of asp
double basic pay 7800+7800=15600(pkr) other allownces 8000 total+ 23600(pkr) increase pay on every year 2000(pkr) other facilities are vehicle+driver residence guard medial facility etc but policemen never depend on salery, the real income of asp is near 5 lac per month which is collected by junior staff such as sho;s

If the basic pay of BPS-17 officer is 7800 and other allowances are 8000, then the total pay of grade 17 officer becomes less than 16000. While the actual pay is around 22000-25000.
The increase in the police pay is not only in the basic pay, but on the lines of judiciary, the basic pay+ allowances both are doubled. I heard Mirza Saleem- Prinicipal of Toppers academy, quoting Mr. Mufakhar Adeel-ASP Sakkhar, that with the increase in the salary of police, the now starting pay of ASP is around 45,000 and their are rumors that govt is going to increase it further to 70,000 at least in troubled areas. It also makes sense, now when the starting pay of a constable is around 15,000, and Sub-Inspectors are taking 25-30k of salary, the pay of ASP should be around 45k.

while constable takes 13000 mbbs takes 18000 in urban and 28000 in rular similarly asp is the officer in 17 scale his maximum starting salery is not more than 26000 i am ex trafic warden during training our starting salery was 16,000 in 2007 in sihalla police training centre comandant fakhar sultan said your salery is more then our new asp. so the mostly salery increase in basic salery here i represent basic salery in punjab grade1-5 2800 grade 6-9 3800 grade14 4800 grade 16 5800 grade 17 7800 grade 18 10800 grade19 13800 grade20 16800 grade 21 19800 grade 22 22800

Asslamulaikum,
Hope all are fine. Salaries of Police dept have increased in 3 provinces, Baluchistan police is exempted. As Hafiz has mentioned that BPS of 17 Grade is 7830,it is obviously doubled,but remember during CTP and STP only one basic pay is payed and 2 to 3 allowances. In CTP around 10000 and STP around 14000. Around 16000 is the basic pay after posting, when allowances are added it reaches to 25000. Regards

Dear CSS Aspirants
Please dont mention that an ASP earns more than 5 lac per month from Other Sources (certainly Illegal .) as Mr. Hafiz Ishtiaq Ahmed has mentioned . We, as young Pakistanis must have an aim that we will make our beloved Country a Corruption Free Country . There are many young students who do not join Civil Services only due to gain financial benefits from illegal means but to Serve people .

the current basic pay of bps 17 is 9850
the salary of asp varies from province to province. sindh does not offer 45k as reported. it's lesser, i think.
