AOA,
dear members my question for this post is that why is there a huge difference between the nature of female jobs and male jobs in p.s.p?

sanamjehan,

that's because our women are not like the women you see in english movies who are good at martial arts and firing guns.

women are most welcome to join psp. i believe they can introduce fresh thinking and be agents of change in the department. but they must make this choice after being fully informed about the training module, working environment of the department, job nature and future career prospects. and i advise the same for men as well.

opt for psp with care.

regards,

there was fierce battle going on between the supporters of '"women in PSP" and those against this proposition. I find the logic strange than women can do all the work that men can do. As God has made men and women different. Both are designed to do different tasks. Men can never take place of loving mom. they cannot nurse and feed the baby as woman can do. The care, love and attention which a child needs can never be provided by a man. Similarly women cannot do certain jobs like fighting criminals. Those in favor of women joining PSP should allow the women of family to fight criminals and should become stay at home fathers to their children and look after their kids and set a fine example for all of us. this would make their arguments irrefutable. as until now they are just talking about hypothetically without taking into consideration the ground realities. While giving the example of women working in forces they forget that they are extremely few in number not just Pakistan but around the world. Even in United states they from less than 5% of the total force and even most of them don't belong to the fighting force. Besides how may women have been fighting in north and south waziristan. Even Lady doctors belonging to army medical core don't go there. So i request all those living in utopia to come back to reality.

Dear All,
I am new here and unluckily i read most of the post regarding is Psp suitable for female?
Really i am shocked this is something crazy going on here.
Be positive. who is selected who is dejected, who will go for which group its premature to decide.
This thread brought uneducated people out from the shroud.

Default females in psp

salam,
first of all i want to make it sure that every one should know its primary duties then secondary.
no doubt current reign is of women liberalism, how ever they deserve it too.
women are capable for every professional duty.
but the i think the major function of a women is to produce a well etiquetted civilised intelligent patriot etc and educated family.
if she can do this alongwith her duty responsibilites , she should be acclaim.
a woman is responsible to organise a civilised society.
recently a lady from chicha watni (distt sahiwal) has joined psp.
some females has got comission in army as a second leiutenant.
