Default Is PSP suitable group for Female??

Today, I had a discussion with my Sahelis about PSP...majority of them were saying PSP is also a good choice if female is interested in it....be that even operational field...........I disagreed..

I want to know....is it right that female are suitable for PSP?? I want the MOderators as well as respectable members to throw a light on this topic..

I perfectly disagree with the opinion regarding Fmales to join PSP as a good group for them.
Why???
Because every executive job is more than its office hours and the nature of their domestic lives do not allow them to be at the risk of duty 24 hour, however a male can still bear it.

I think there is no harm if females do join PSP. If one really wants to serve the country then he/she must be willing to sacrifice their lives. Police is much maligned in our country, but it is the most honorable profession in my view.

i agree with rishzzz, when female's go in p.s.p they are usually they are given posts of female jail's, police academies, p.s.p welfare programs , so the nature of female job in p.s.p is just office work not that much field work.but duty hour's is big problem u wont be having any time for ur family.

except those girls with strong heart i would advise not to join PSP. and although we need some female officers in POLICE dept but i would say our society is not fit for that .

@ statue of liberty.

Females are more than welcome in police. Now things have changed and its not the same as it was 20,30 years back. If females can become pilots then why not police officers. This is just a perception that police is not suited to females, otherwise there is no such thing to be afraid of. An officer is a officer whether male or female. In our society there are stigmas attached with everything but once you start doing that then everything gets okay. Females are more than 50 % of society and most of the crimes committed are against females. If female police officers would be there they could better understand the problems of female victims. So there should be an increase in women police stations in the country. Females can discuss their problems easily with females rather than male. This is the reason why female victims do not bother to register a complaint in police station because of fear attached with it. I would advise all the female candidates to keep PSP as their first choice.

Being very straightforward, can u plz have another look what are the duties of pilots and police??? If you could differentiate you will get to know that it makes their life miserably mishandled and the mismanagement not only in their duty but also in their family starts beginning. No doubt liberal society is coming out of the shell. But it is a harsh truth if ppl realise that this group is not suitable for women...Yes DMG can be a better option

@ Rishzzz.

Well if the women would start coming in police then the society will change its attitude. As far as family life is concerned it can be managed. You see female doctors also manage their family life. I mean otherwise women should just stay home and not do anything. Working women have to make a few sacrifices for the sake of their career and family.
