Post psp vacancies???

salam... plz can anybody tell me that what are the average number of vacancies for psp every year and how many are for province punjab????plz also tell me the number of seats for province punjab since last years..............

15-20 in Pakistan..7-8 for Punjab

thanx bhai jaan plz also tell me that how many marks should be obtained in order to join the psp??i also heard that among all the groups only psp requires high merit?is it also true?

Yes its true. Since most of the toppers choose PSP as their 1st preference that is why the merit of PSP becomes higher. You need to be at least in 1st 25 to ensure your chances for allocation in PSP. Still its never sure unless you fall into positions less than the vacancies announced

Induction to PSP and other departments is done through CSS exam. Advertisement for CSS-2012 will be published in newspapers in 1st week of December.

Default Advertisement of CSS 2012 published!!!

Applications for CSS 2012 have to be submitted till 31st Dec 2011. Age will be counted till 31st Dec 2011.

CAN some1 please answer how many seats Of PSP for KP, Baluchistan AND sINDH .. ?aRE THEY evenly distributed ?And how would 1 know that?

Default PSP seats for KPK

These seats are not fixed. It depends on the requisition of the Establishment Division every year. It may be varied year by year. KPK has its quota (11.5%) and given accordingly seats. Last year in 2010, there was only seat of PSP.

Correction:PSP is by NO means the top preference group in te CSS anymore.Things have reverted to old,i.e DMG has again taken the top notch.
