psp vs army

AOA,, we all know that PSP has alot of ''shashka'' of uniform ,salutes ,blue lights, protocol , personal guards etc etc............but can any one tell me if we compare psp officer with an army officer which would have more powers and protocol ,respect like an ASP VS CAPTAIN ...........I am asking as an person , not as an organization coz we all know that as an organization nothing is powerful than army............ And if a person is opted for both , which should he join??? and both have almost equal salaries........

In that case, you should opt for Police... Like if you are looking for social recognition and DANDA within the Civilian Spheres (which matters more than the military setup)... Even if you speak of the perks and privileges, an ASP gets more than a captain does.... As an institution, ofcourse Army is way more powerful.....
Secondly, as ASP has a very good chance of getting promoted to the POST of DIG and other such authoritative posts.. Promotion in army is pretty competitive and you never know where you would end up..
I hope I answer your question

wassie is right

btw, why don't you join army first then utilize that option of lateral induction to infiltrate police? ;) you would enjoy some residual perks from army (like the title of captain against your name for the rest of your life) as well as all the "shashka" of police...kaisa?:pp

psp versus army

salam,
after a long duration i have rejoined css forum... actually i am a veterinary student and don't know well about the civil services...... as far as the answer of your question is concerned i would like to say that every rank and status has its own charm and charisma..... my cousin is a captan and he had an attachment with general as ADC and i have observed his life at that time..... none an asp nor a dpo approaches to her dignity at that time...... now he is back to his unit and now enjoys his usual protocol...... similar in psp an asp have glorious status and vivid authority in his sphere..... in psp there is a vivid influence of political systems and a strong mpa may b more powerfull than asp... although asp enjoys vast area under there rule...
however at the end it is upto you that how you stear a post of asi or asp or captan.... your own performance will change the public perspectives about that post.... i belongs to faisalabad .... our dco has totally changed the picture of faisalabad by his efforts people may have a long lasting affection to future dcos of faisalabad......
i hope that i have answered you well

In modern world, police is just like an internal security and if there are no local crimes then there might be no need of police in any country because for internal security there are other departments as well. Army is your main department and in order to protect your homeland, country must have strong armed forces.
