Respected fellows, there is nothing in such discussions who has more power and who has less.

DCO and DPO are to work in their respective fields and both are pillars/pullies of the state machinery. Every group, service, post have its own pros and cons and its just insane to have comparison of such things.

Aspirants should not indulge into such futile discussions.

Regards

DCO (District Co-ordination Officer), which means he can co-ordinate but can't give orders to DPO . But that is also a fact that DPO is attendee of a meeting called by DCO most of the times.
DCO is custodian of whole District but DPO is only responsible law of and order, crime detection etc .
I have great passion for PSP, but still I would say PAS is more powerful, especially in grades 19 and above.

P.S correct me if I am wrong

Dpo is district police officer. SSP is seniour superintendent of police. Provincial gov. can appoint any sp or ssp as Dpo.
