DPO vs DCO
 

my two top favourite groups are PSP & DMG...here some questions need to b answered....

[B][B]Q.1. who has more power ...? DPO or DCO...?

Q.2. how many years required to become DPO after joining the office and a DMG'ian how many years required to become DCO...??...which group has less time to become ..?

Q.3. In last, what you recommend that which group is the best and should join......??[/B][/B]

dpo is more powerful as compare to dco. but DC is more powerful as compare to SP or SSP in real sense, but it happens rarely

Now is not the right time to think about who is more powerful. First be amongst the top 30 candidates out of 10,000+ who will get allocated in these groups and then pray your family has some sort of political backing so you can get field posting. Only then you will be able to know who is more powerful otherwise you will be enjoying "Neeli batti wali LC" as ASP Sports or ASP Communication etc etc

Never heard of these posts. Do these really exist? Or if you were trying to say DDO - Sports, DDO - Communication & Works etc etc ?

Sir Redmax DDOs exist in DMG , the appointments mani1 stated are from PSP.

Well it depends how do you
define the word "power" , as far as legal power is concerned in my limited knowledge DCO has more legal power than DPO, but! when it
comes to unauthorized use of power definately DPO is much more
powerful than DCO, but this unauthorized power is seriously being threatened by media now a days...
As far as Promotion is concerned ..... It depends upon various factors..

Sir I don't know the exact nomenclature but yes I know a couple of PSPs who are posted on such posts. They don't have field postings. I wont take names but there is one SSP who still hasnt gotten a single field posting

sir what a great joke............ SSP is a 19th grade oficer and minimum 5 years of field posting is mandatory for promotion to grade 19 and you are saying thart he has not got any field posting yet............. and who says that field posting requires political backgroung???? ........... 90% of the CSPs are from middle or lower middle class families ...... and last thing which made me laugh is ASP SPORTS ... HAHAHAHA ............. ASP always starts his job from field posting like ASP DEFENCE , ASP CIVIL LINES etc etc.......... :haha
