compare the life standard , authorities ,protocol , life style, powers , prestige , respect and salary of the three.

Why most of the defence personnel are not satisfied with the defence career and want to join css specially psp. i m not shooting in the dark. See this thread in which a captain and a GD PILOT are discussing to entre in to css leaving their careers.

ASP of PSP group is far better than captain and flight lieutenant in terms of the life standard , authorities ,protocol , life style, powers , prestige , respect and salary. There is no match.

Yaar practically speaking everyone march towards civil service for Easy money ...there exist tight scrutiny in Armed services so no chances of corruption etc at junior level like u have mentioned captain, sqd leader ..
The idea/reason of SERIVICE to PUBLIC is outworn because one can easily serve nation in army or airforce rather it a esteemed cause to protect country from internal and external dangers ... i hope u got my point

Aap ki baqi kisi ID ko warning denay ki zarurat nahi hai.
Wo baghair kisi warning ke hi ban ho jaya karain gi.

Aur agar aap isi tarah ke threads banatay rahay, to meri isi post ko warning samajh lein, aur is ke baad gila karnay ki zarurat nahi ke warning ke baghair ban kar diya.

That's not true. There is far more power and prestige attached with ASP than with any junior army officer. It's true that some people, especially the not so informed ones, think that captain etc. are more powerful but the fact is that ASP has no match wIth anyother group in terms of power, prestige and promotion's probability(apart from DMG/PAS). There are some problems with police but they are all concerned with the unfortunate political manipulation of police department.
