Captain vs ASP

asp have more protocol than captain
ASP gets Govt vehicle if posted on field job whereas vehicle is not allotted to captain
More public interaction as an ASP whereas no such case for a captain.
chances of BPS-21 and above are bright as an ASP whereas not as bright for a captain
ASP face more political pressure and with passage of time more political links require to get good postings as you get promotions number of good posts starts shrinking as per your designation
In army you are yes boss to your seniors only whereas in Police you are also yes boss to politicians (though not to all politicians) and their near ones otherwise you might get posting in Balochistan or other tough area
Captain and his family enjoys a good life (clean and secure living, good schooling for children, good hospitals etc) in his lawful earning whereas for an honest ASP maintaining good life standard is tough.
After retirement, army officer atleast gets one very good house in Askari/Army/Cantt Housing whereas in police again political and bureaucratic links work.

Default Asp vs capt

In real life, some Second LT, LT and Capt goes for CSS and they become ASP, through CSS. you can see some DPO, SSP, DIG as DPO Capt Ali, etc.
