Life of an ASP

Dear friends! Can someone highlight the lifestyle of an ASP? I am not asking about the facilities he gets, but the type of duties he performs and his impact and influence on society. How much does job satisfaction does a motivated youth get while serving as an ASP? If there is already a thread on this topic, kindly direct me to that.
