Hello everyone!

The purpose of starting this thread is to ask the seniors and csp's to shed some light on attempting the questions in the paper.

Basically, I, and surely several other aspirants, want to know in what format or strategic method should one answer the question. To articulate my query better, I 'd draw connection with the essay paper where there is a set method to go about any chosen topic.

For instance, lets say I'm preparing US-PAK relationship, now what headings should I use to break the answer in a methodological way?

I am really astonished that no one really bothers to answer the important questions here.Like what the hell is the issue here?

If we are preparing for US-Pak Relation..
First of all, we should have background, which means Historical Overview with Positive approach.
Second, US interest and Strategic approach towards South Asia in general and Pakistan in particular.
Thirdly, write some positive events and benefits of US for Pakistan.
Fourthly, now write about needs of US in South Asia, i means problems that has been faced by US in maintaining her Hegemony in Asia..
Problems like South China Sea, Rise of China, Troops in Afghanistan, Terrorism policy towards Terrorist sponsor countries including Pak..
Now, come to the Pakistan role; being an ally of US in Terrorism Policy, Afghanistan peaceful transition of Power as peaceful elections in Afghanistan, countering india in Asia (Civil Nuclear Deal)..
What we are losing being ally in terrorism policy..all problems concisely mention..
Pakistan Role.. Positive Approach.
US-Pak present and future aspects with new Racist like Trumph..
Conclusion..

I would welcome seniors to point out my mistakes..

You should know all this, but when answering the question, don't focus on the background. Focus on discussing the specific issue asked in the question. This is what everyone who scores well in CA advises.

Question: How do you see recent developments in the Middle East, particularly with reference to deteriorating relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran? What role, if any, Pakistan could play in reducing the tensions between the two Muslim countries?

This issue has become obsolete. My advise would be to prepare notes of current issues first. For example Role of US and Russia in Syria war, European Union, etc.

start your answer by mentioning current scenario and then by pointing at the historical perspective write recommendations and suggestions.
What I think is that in every question priority is given to your own stance over that topic, and that is what makes you stand apart from the rest crowd...
