I read them for background and made flash cards out of them. Like summarizing the whole chapter in 6 points.

You have opinions in dawn (author name and picture) and then you have editorials (three small piece of articles). What i was meaning to say that you don't have to read the whole newspaper, as it will only waste your time. Just read the three editorials everyday. Doing a lot of articles won't help either because one has to study other subjects as well.
