AoA

dear brother

you would b encounternig with differnt views on these issues by different pple

if u r going to get knowledge for your Current/Pakistan Affairs papers then leave these issues aside nd dont waste ur time going in depth of issues,

however,

1. What was the Role of MQM in 1990 at Karachi? Who was the responsible for terrorism?

if u r going to get books by MQM authors then u would get pro-MQM view, whereas by anti MQM authors u would get another view, in my thinking it was not only MQM involved in the issue, there were some other issues/parties as well

2. Why Balochistan tribes are against Punjab Province?

not all Baloch tribes r against Punjab, one can say some Sardars r aganist Punjab, it is the game of power, however many Punjabis r settled in far flung areas of province

3. Why Politicians especially belong to Sindh, NWEF & Balochistan disagree at Kalabagh Dam?

for this check this link http://www.cssforum.com.pk/showthrea...=4602#post4602

4. Why Politicians of NWFP are interested to rename the province name and suggested "Pakhtonistan"?

not all politicians r in this favour, this was a hot issue in early years of Pakistan, the reasons were creation of troubles in the country mainly sponsored by India nd Afghanistan

5. Who was involved in assassination of Fatima Jinnah?

hmmm, well i wil try to contact to check it out

Salaam,

I present my own point of view:

1) The MQM was igniter. Government was the abetter.

2) Balochistan (and other provinces) see punjab as a usurper of country's resources.

3) Please refer to the link of Tabassum on Kalabagh.

4) Regarding the name of NWFP:
Sindh - land of sindhis
Balochistan - land of balochs
Punjab - land of Punjabis
Pakhtoonistan - land of Pakhtoons

NWFP is not a good name. It was coined by the Britishers. And Pakhtoons are the most emotional people in this country.

5) Please forgive me and Tabassum for our incompetence to answer you at this question. Lekin I surmise they might be the thugs of Ayub Khan.

Regards,
Adil Memon

Suggestions and Criticism are welcome... errors and omissions are expected!
