Default difference in attempting current affairs and essay papers

folks i want to ask this.. Is there some difference the way we attempt current affairs question and the way we should attempt essay.. i mean is the tone same????

I am asking this because a lot of people here say that current affairs topic, like 18th amendment (for instance) is also an "essay"

If there is difference, what is it??

Essay and C.A are two different but related things.A essay is attempted totally by living in boundaries of grammer, material, style etc, while current afffairs paper can be attempted just by having good material and English.i think checker ignores few of grammer and spelling mistake in c.a but he never give us chance in essay paper.
often a essay is asked to written on current affairs topic so by preparing well Current affairs we can prepare a essay, but it depend upon paper settler either he gives us a topic related to c.a or not.In c.a paper if attempt 18th amendment we may attempt one aspect of it but in essay we have to write a completer thesis on it.

Default Essay/Current Affairs

Both Essay and curent affair are different

Essay requires complete information of the topic inluding background history, present aspects and future trends, merits, demerits, your own views etc
While Current affair event/topic requires actual facts and figures with no exxageration

essay paper requires alot of things:
writing according to topic
correct grammar
good use of english
correct approach
less use of facts
less use of technical language
covering many aspects
relevant material

while current affair requires:
vast knowledge
background and current scenarios
pros and cons
facts
normal english
headings

material can be same but its expression is different for both papers
