Amubin! Don't worry, the whole point of reading and compiling newspaper articles is to read them thoroughly, and then understand current issues while improving your language and expression. Dont worry about compiling them all together, as long as you have read them thoroughly. A good way to do this is to read each article, underline its key points, and then jot them down on a paper in single line bullet points under the topic they're about. This will help you review them quickly and get them fixed in your immediate memory as well All the best!

here are some suggestions:
1) keep separate files for different topics such current affairs, pak affairs, EDS and etc.
2) keep the article by marking date and highlighting the main sentences in the articles.
3) If you get different articles on a same topic and staple and keep them in the separated file that you could easily find them for revision.

@Salman

Bro salman I think I have forgotten what I have read...As far as expression and language is concerned I think it has improved alot...

Salman I think if I had compiled them daily in separate files it has helped me alot while preparing for Essay and Current affairs.

Topics for Current Affairs 2011 have already been mentioned in other threads. Refer to those for topics.

As far as making notes of current affairs goes, please do not just merely copy the articles from the paper. Establish the theme of the article, and then extract key ideas from that article and try to write them in your own words with bullet points. Focus on the following outline:

-Main Idea
-Current status
-Pro arguments
-Con Arguments
-Future possibilities/suggestions/recommendations
-Conclusion
