Default dont mess with pakistan

[CEDon’t mess with Pakistan!
Ata ul Ihsan & Mustansar Hussain Tasir
The last months of 2011 witnessed an extremely opprobrious and reprehensible step being taken by our oldest “strategic partner”, the USA, by issuing summon to Pakistan’s supreme spy agency’s chief, to clarify some baseless allegations. This was really an embarrassing episode for the dignity of Pakistan and decorum of its defense and security establishment. US on one side, declares Pakistan as its major non-Nato ally in its so-called war on terror, even acknowledges Pakistan’s unparalleled sacrifices, but on the other hand, its court issued summons against Pakistan high profile official of an extremely sensitive department. However, a bird’s eye view on the events that took place in the recent past, may reveal the fact that an assiduous and well-planned systemic psychological campaign, is going on to defame and ultimately terminate ISI, the country’s first line of defense against the incalculable overt and covert seditious operations. As everybody knows Obama and his allied states never minced words to reprimand and accuse Pakistan and ISI of playing double game in this war against terror by differentiating between “Good Taliban and Bad Taliban”, and exporting terrorism therefore not a sagacious mind is required in skull to sniff that a deception meal is being cooked for Pakistan to offer.
Though the story of US betrayal and subterfuge is not new but it can easily be traced back to the very inception of Pakistan. However, the recent episode is gravest of all. Vandalized hypocrisy against Pakistan is bitterly venomous for the young blood of Balochistan as Baloch separatists are receiving financial assistance from some Washington’s addresses by the name of Balohistan Legal Fund (BLF) while USA is still unable to halt it. Apart from neglecting Pakistan’s sensitivity Pentagon’s Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), along with CIA and same fashioned intelligence outfits: RAW, MOSAD and a rented gang of killers i.e. Black water (Xe), are hand in glove with Baloch separatist sub-nationalist elements, which are posing a real challenge to the country’s geographical unity. These are not conspiracy theories as the mainstream Western and Indian media hails, rather these are the moves even exposed by many western independent observers and journalists. Jeremy Scahill, an American investigative journalist and security commentator, the author of the best-selling book Black water: the Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army, winner of a George Polk Book Award, has confirmed the clandestine activities of these notorious elements inside Pakistan, in his article ‘Black Water’s black ops’. An other Washington-based Journalist, Wayne Madsen in his article titled, Pakistan: Blackwater/Xe Hits in Quetta, written in September 14, last year has confirmed the above mentioned agencies, especially Black Water’s involvement in different “false-flag terrorist attacks” and in the various recent incidents of sectarian strife in Pakistan and also their coordination with TTP and other terrorists groups operating inside Pakistan. Pakistan has expressed its serious concerns and suspicions on American’s recent revelation of program to establish its separate Consulate in Quetta, as its Ambassador Anne W Patterson had stated:
“The Consulate would be set up to monitor the development activities being carried out by the US in Balochistan…also ensure a close liaison between the Baloch people and the US, and would provide visa facility to the people of Balochistan.”.
Besides American vulpine interference in Balochistan, hindu hegemonic approach is adding fuel to the fire; fanned by misgovernance and red tape activities of Pakistan authorities.
India is at forefront to exploit this situation in Balochistan, as it did in case of West Pakistan. Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is providing all types of aid and abet to BLA, BRA, and TTP fighters against Pakistan. This view was validated by an independent and renowned scholar, Christine Fair of RAND Corporation, when he reveals:
“Having visited the Indian mission (Indian consulate in Afghanistan, bordering Pakistan) in Zahedan, I can assure you they are not issuing visas as the main activity. Moreover, India has run operations from its mission in Mazar (through which it supported the Northern Alliance against Taliban) and is doing so from the other consulates it has reopened in Jalalabad and Kandahar along the border. Indian officials have told me privately that they are pumping money into Baluchistan.”
India is lethally weponizing the separatist and terrorist groups which are not only playing havoc in the Balochistan and FATA, but also inflicting injury to Pakistan’s mainstream urban centers. Keeping in view the growing India-US nexus, the demand of American top brass to extend War on Terror in Pakistani regions, especially in Quetta, it is quite easy to predict that which cat is their in the bag.
As CIA better knows the successes of Indian consulates’ bordering Pakistan, being used by RAW as terror bases to train and engineer sabotage operations against Pakistan, so Americans also wants such bases in these areas to contribute its “share” to this heinous campaign against Pakistan. This is a greater conspiracy which must be known to all Pakistanis and their political and military leadership. The plan to establish these consulates depicts the real intentions of US about the future of this Pakistan’s largest province.
So to counter all these espionage and intelligence operations, ISI is the force which is playing the role of first line of defense. It is not only exposing all duplicitous faces and subversive intentions of these foes of Pakistan but also retorting and hitting them back in their own coin. That is why these evil forces are incessantly at a psychological war against this esteemed institution of Pakistan, of which issuing summon was one of the tactics.
Pakistan’s military and political leadership must realize the sensitivity of the issue and a billeting message, very loud and clear should be given to all these anti-Pakistan evil forces, that they must be aware of the potential of Pakistanis’ to defend their homeland. Pakistan is simply not a walk over country. Albeit, Pakistan is suffering from numerous crises, yet it will never tolerate any vitiation or vandalism to its geographical and ideological boundaries. What Pakistanis can do is not unknown to US and its intelligence agencies as they had been working with Pakistan against Soviet Union during 1980s. Washington must not forget the powerful leverage of Islamabad, used to kneel down US after NATO helicopters intruded Pakistani tract.
Pakistan is neither Iraq, nor we are Afghanistan. We are a nation of 170 million people with an ideology, having glorious history and fabulous strategic culture, 7th largest military in the world and a Nuclear power. So I would simply say: ‘Don’t Mess With Pakistan’!
