i have a question though lil stupid but still lemme ask. Who sets national things? like national animal is markhor and flower jasmine. why they cant be changed to something else like lion or falcon or red rose? reason?

There are certain rules to declare national symbols. Things which are specific and unique, are declared as national symbols. Because then these things become the identity of a country in the whole world. So the uniqueness is important.

If anyone has more information he can share...
