Default CA Urgent: Last Day prep

Guys I am a bit apprehensive regarding my preparation of Current Affairs. Its not like I have been preparing for weeks; on the contrary it has only been a couple of days but as usual I am overly optimistic and confident regarding my abilities

That said, I looked at the past papers just now and it seems I can't solve a single question despite my comprehensive preparation. I don't know what I am doing wrong as I have read

1)Dawn since last 1 year
2)All JWT Magazines of 2010
3)Quarterly Journals 1 & 2
4)Contemporary Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid Book 69 & 71
5)Officers Academy Golden Notes

yet I can't remember a single thing and can't solve a single question from past papers. People I encounter are all very confident regarding their CA prep when I am sure they havn't read as much as I have (please don't quote the retention clause). So what seems to be the issue here? and can anyone help me out by listing some important questions for last minute prep?

Thanks!

i love confident people. it's great mashallah. although personally i believe that a pehlawan does not need to make every body tap on the matt to show that he is a pehlawan hehe....

Comprehensive Prep. Well the day you start believing you are comprehensively prepared is the day you should have a feeling that the more you know stuff the more you dont

1)Dawn since last 1 year [not required. TV solves it. although good]
2)All JWT Magazines of 2010 [helped me loads: last year. Their yearly edition that is]
3)Quarterly Journals 1 & 2
4)Contemporary Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid Book 69 & 71 [its something i cant write on the forum. but its something starting with a c and ends with a p and in total has 4 alphabets]
5)Officers Academy Golden Notes [throw them, burn them or whatever]

yet I can't remember a single thing and can't solve a single question from past papers. important questions: forget about them. since you are so confident and energetic you dont need guess papers do you just rely on your skills janab. anyways here are the tips:

1- give the organizations a good look. there is always one questions related to them and Pakistan's role in particular.

2- polish your analytic skills. the first paper that is going to test those skills is just around the corner. dont expect to write a note on 18th amendment or anything as straightforward. if it comes, that's a bonus, because 99.9% of the people are prepared for it. it's going to be something thora sa taira .

3- go to columns.pk. review all the columns in and around Decemeber.

4- Scan the forum for important topics. i remember, around 3 questions i could solve because i used to be a silent observer of the events taking here on the Forum .

See main topics of CA and PA from the following link:

CSS Forums - View Single Post - Guidance required.

Add following two more topics in that list:

1) Revolutionary wave in Arab countries and its implications on rest of the countries.
2) Raymond Davis Case and its impact on PAK-USA relations.

Wish you good luck.

Both of them occured only recently when in all probability the paper was made (personal opinion though)
