don't read newspaper only listen to news bulletins on leading news channels once or twice daily if possible then watch capital talk or any good talk show and buy monthly jahangir times and read that , it's a suggestion not a final way but it will be fruitful for your c.a's preparation :)

Try to watch a political talk show daily and at least read headlines of newspaper daily. this is your first assignment for one week.

News Night with Talat is a good talk show. from every monday to friday at 10:00 pm on dawn news.
watch it for a fair analysis.
and the rest as mentioned by call for change

If you want to appear in 2014 then there is no need to watch news channels talk shows etc you have plenty of time left to cover c.a after all today's current affair will be of no use then it would become history .
Brother concentrate on other compulsories like english pak affairs and if want suggestion regarding optional subjects me and other members are here for help ? don't worry about c.a

If one has to develop interest in current affairs then he has to start reading newspapers and talk shows. It doesn't matters whether he has to appear in 2013 or 2014.
and moreover the issues like corruption, bad governance etc will be same in 2014 so it is not useless to start developing interest in the current affairs from today.

@ Hummy Dummy

Current affairs and politics are very interesting than watching movies and meaningless TV dramas, some days before i was also not interested in all these politics and current affairs but as i started to listen news channels, reading news paper, column, Talk shows i became addicted to all these things. So my suggestion just start it and then You by yourself will see the interest.

Stay Blessed

Dawn is a best source as it improves your english and at the same time prepares you for current affairs.
you should watch talk shows, especially news night with talat as he analyses the issues in a fair manner.
