It's an important query. So far the method I'm using is
1: to read Dawn newspaper daily.
2: to read the important enlisted topics in Current Affairs syllabi from books that I'm consulting for other papers. For example, Ikram Rabbani's "Pakistan Affairs" book contains some important and detailed topics like Water Crisis, and Education, Kashmir Issue, Relations with regional and super powers. So It's really useful for various papers.
3: to read editorials and columns that are daily posted on CSS Forum.
4: Most importantly, I read Jahangir's World Times. I think, it easily covers the 3 above-mentioned means. It's more than enough. You can solely rely on JWorldTimes.

thanks bro for good suggestions. And what's the strategy to solve the questions? these methods are sufficient to collect material but what questions should be addressed. Do we go for the past papers?

Yes. There are ways to tackle the questions. One is the way to go through the past papers. See which questions are asked. Supposedly, Pakistan's relations with neighbouring countries, regional and superpowers and Muslim and Middle Eastern countries are there. Then there are issues that Pakistan is facing namely Education, Economy, Terrorism, Energy crisis and so on. Then you must prepare leading world and regional organisations like WTO, ASEAN, ECO, UNO, SAARC, EU. Lastly, you may consider some important unresolved matters like Kashmir, Palestine, Uprisings in Muslim Countries etc,.
You may break up the questions set up according to the specified syllabi.
