News papers will merely keep you updating regarding general issue happening around the world. You are ought to consult some good books as to get complete scenario of burning current issues in your skull.

Yes, I second sikander kalhoro's suggestion that there is no time span for C.A. You have to see newspaper of every single day as to keep yourself updated with regard to latest developments across the world.

Stay blessed.

Newspapers are important but not enough.
Besides newspapers and talk shows on TV,you should go through the following:

•Current Affairs by Ilmi Publishers.
•Conteporary Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid.
•NIA-National and International Affairs by Career Ffinder.(Quarterly Magazine)
•World Times by Jahangir Publishers.(Monthly magazine)
•Current Affairs Supplement(Special Issue)by JWT.
