You should read news papers by yourself and purchase current affairs issues by Imtiaz Shahid because they are seniors and they include those issues which is very important for CSS exams point of view.

To cover Current affairs objectives, you need a multi prong effort . Only reading dawn can fetch you 5 to 6 marks for sure but not 17 or 18.

You should learn by heart

1) all the annual international days and events.
2) new books and novels published .
3) Stay upto date with all UN and related developments
4) Names of new theories and ideas , for example what is "barrier free " concept ( came this year).
5) Nobel prize winners of last 2 decades and why they got he prize .
And You general knowledge , well that contains all what is left .
