Default Topics for Current Affairs, CSS-2014

Hey I shall appear in the CSS-2014 exams Insha Allah. To prepare for Current Affairs I am reading newspaper, Pakistan today (daily), Dawn (weekly) and Friday Times and different magazines online as well as Jahangir World times, I keep myself up-to-date with everything that is happening inside Pakistan as well abroad particularly in the region.

Could anyone please suggest me some additional topics/subjects or any tip that might be helpful for me and other CSS-2014 candidates? Also please suggest that while I prepare the notes for each topic or subject in Current Affairs, should I make long notes or short with bullet-points? Looking forward.

Hey there is something else I have heard which I would like to discuss with you briefly. How we must always use the middle approach, likewise we must use the dual approach for the topics. For example, if I am talking about Kashmir issue, I wouldn't just discuss the pakistan's perspective but would briefly give an overview of India's perspective as well as kashmiri's - is that correct? Or for drone strikes, I would highlight the perspective of Pakistani government, opposition, masses (from urban and tribal area both) as well as America's and Allied countries, right? So the context doesn't remain lop-sided and prejudiced.
