Great game is term coin to explicit hidden programs and planning of any extensional power .Currently , us is the sole power of the world , she has launched two war theaters , one is in Asia while another is in middle East . operational strategy is executed by us state department .Following goals in the cognition of state department are as follow .
1) to defeat Al Qaeda and its affiliate
2)to bring democracy in Afghanistan , a war torn country .
This game of chess seems simple but underlying and behind the curtain , different goals and motives of Us and Nato . Here , the term great game came to play its part .

1) encirclement of china
2) depriving Pakistan of its nuclear power
3)Capturing the gas reserves of Central Asia
4) To Support insurgencies in Pakistan and divide it on Yugoslavia Pattern .

this strategy and its execution is dirty game. army new doctrine used it 4rd generation warfare . In GREEN BOOK , terrorism is the biggest threat to Pakistan rather than India .In pondering War Scenario in realm of global war on terror , the whole region of south Asia is in turmoil , instability and civil war against state .

taking Pakistan as case study and relates similarities with the disintegration of different countries in history ,

Pakistan is facing security , economic woes and governance collapse in national scenario . Army 's responsibility is to protect against external threats ,while former perform the duty duty of police . Different insurgencies are prevailing in different areas . In nutshell , state is in conflict with non state actor . TTP (Tehrik i Taliban ) has started cocktail attacks against government installments , even targeted military personnels .
In the mean while , western media has launched its psychological operational in cyber world . Pakistan nukes are vulnerable to terrorists . Pakistan national bear the brunt of TTP 's avenge .Foreign office blames Kabul for sanctuaries of TTP leadership . The situation is ambiguous and uncertain . Both countries( Pakistan and America) turn against their vested interest . Even , intelligence odds against each other . CIA take Pakistan as scapegoat and do not acknowledge ttp leadership is in Kabul .

Different insurgencies BLA (Balochistan liberation army) objective is to make separate Balochistan state .TTP demands Sharia in Pakistan . what is this ? Pakistan constitution says this state is islamic and no principles un harmonious to religion will not enforce . Islamic ideology council reviews any clause of constitution. economics is at receiving end of bad governance , corruption and personal interest of ruling 'elites.

analogy to former yougslavia
this country comprised of different state serjvia , croatia and kosovso . Today half of world population do not know about this particular country , because it is completely disappeared from the world map .Owing to economic collapse , regional insurgencies . In history first great game was began in sub continent when british came as trader in Bengal ,but controlled the sub continent , that british hegemony was successful due to internal insurgencies , economic dependence on East India Company and Muslims lagged in field of modern technology .
Why Tipu sultan was martyrdom due to nawab siraj dullah betrayal .

now it is third great game is taking place in the world , world second great game was between USSR AND US , after this us was victor , USSR was collapsed and broken into seven Muslim states .Ussr was collapsed due to economic downfall , imperial extension . Now , let see which country is at receiving end after culmination of third great game . Afghanistan the center of gravity will defeat America, will it retain history of remnant empire . South Asia once again center of great game.

The Great Game was a term used for strategic movements of British Empire and Tsarist Russian Empire to have supremacy in Central Asian region. Roughly, the period of Great Game starts from the ninteenth century and remained active in some form uptil annexation of of Central Asian states by USSR. Period of USSR invasion to Afghanistan was also considered to be an extended leg of Great Game. The Great Game was considered to be halted after dismemberment of USSR. Persia/Iran, China and USA were also considered to be parties in later part of the game.

US allied forces invasion of Afghanistan in aftermath of 9/11 is sometime taken as the new version of the Great Game i.e New Great Game and efforts of many powers to take control of the resources of Central Asia. Current important players are the US lead Western countries, Russia and China with some stakes held by Iran, Pakistan and India.

Sino - Pak relations are important in this context because of the fact that China is a main player of new great game and USA is also vying for the power in the region. Pakistan being a partner of China is also linked with this new strategic agenda.

If you have time and want to do extensive study for its historical concepts then give a look to "The Great Game: The Struggle for Empire in Central Asia" written by Peter Hopkirk. The story of Kim written by Rudyard Kipling also revolves around the adventures of Kim for the great game .

Regards
