Water issue between Pakistan and India

pakistan and india have long dispute over indus river system . the very first contention was in during 1948 , just first year after the creation . india blocked the water of gandha singh wala and ferozpur . pakistan threaten war if india did not open its due water to pakistan . in 1954 . again water dispute erupted . so both countries are agricultural and water is necessary for crops . in 1960 world bank act as mediator and signed agreement .
