First of all compose yourself while preparation.Current affair is not so difficult subject as its questions are required general understanding of topic.The first thing for preparation of C.F. is to look at past papers.In this way you will be in good position to assess what sorts of topics you need to cover.In this year following topics are ,in my opinin, very important;
Pakistan's problems (terrorism,exteremism ,sectarianism,poverty,agrecultural problems,energy issues,insergency in bolochistan and fata,water crisis etc)
International and regional organisations.
international issues( Afghanistan ,Syria,Iran,Middel East etc)
PAK's relations with other countries

In order to prepare these issues you can resort to following things
Read newspaper regularly
Involve yourself in discission with someone on these topics
Read "Press Review"
you can consult Dr Safdar 's book on current affairs and
A book by DR yousaf on Pak socio-economic problems

I jotted down the topics which i have to prepare for C.A, including Pak's relations with other countries (Islamic, neighboring and south Asian), Pakistan's internal problems (Terrorism, bad governance, energy, oppressed women, political parties), International issues (UNSC veto issue, Palestine issue, middle east issue, civil wars, role of Islam and muslims).

Now i'm making my own notes of the above topics through safdar mahmood's book, internet, magazines and some other books. After that, i'll read every topic thoroughly and put own analytical views if i can. I'm a regular reader of Dawn too. Is it all okay? or do i need to add some more spice in this subject?

That's pretty good.Acually your analytical power matters a lot.If you want to score 60 plus marks in ca,just keep in mind 2 things;
1) Give relevant data in your answer i.e.in agriculture related question yopu may mention employees attached to profession etc.
2)explain your answer with headings.But do not limit your explanation with just 2 or 3 line.Also give reference in your answer of expert columnists etc
