It would be better to take the opportunity of spacious time. Don't prepare it in the way we prepare for the exam. But, read the issues which will always be. For example, Kashmir issue, Balochistan issue, Water Crisis, Education, Media, Agriculture, Economy, Palestine Issue, etc. etc. Cover the Pakistan's relations with other countries. Read all these and many other topics' from ab initio. Continuously read newspapers, books of current affairs. CA is essential not only for Competitive exams, but also for almost every other exam.
Hope you got the point.

@ Mian Faizan
Dear, with the passage of time, change in thinking, aptitude and variance in perspective and knowledge is a must for sincere and hardworking people. Without indulging whether Nidae Millat is quite or not, you should consult Jahangir's World Times of every month. After reading just one issue of it, you will feel a hell of difference and surely improvement in your knowledge and thinking about many topics, esp., the Current Affairs. So, kindly consult it from the very first to the very last step.

Yes, it will surely suffice your needs for the Compulsory as well as some topics of Optional subjects also. Many CSPs and scholarly persons write in that magazine. Exam-oriented approach is the one glaring aspect of this magazine.
