Geo Strategic position of Pakistan
i am sharing some points about the strategic position of Pakistan i hope other will contribute also. plz correct me where i lack in information.
strategically Pakistan is located in a very important position. in history whenever a foreigner invaded subcontinent they came through the western borders of Pakistan and use khyber pass as their route. pakistan links central asia and south asia. Pakistan shares borders with the rising Powers i.e. China & India. oily rich Iran and heavenly protected Afghanistan. Pakistan is the shortest rout for Central Asian Republic i.e. silk route. Pakistan has access to sea on its one border and difficult mountainous terrain on its western border. for sea pakistan has an efficient Navy while on the western borders it has great warriors who have no match in the world for their revolutionary gurilla warfare.
