[SIZE="3"]The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the United States federal government agency primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid. President John F. Kennedy created USAID in 1961 by executive order to implement development assistance programs in the areas authorized by the Congress in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961. An independent federal agency, USAID receives overall foreign policy guidance from the United States Secretary of State and seeks to "extend a helping hand to those people overseas struggling to make a better life, recover from a disaster or striving to live in a free and democratic country."

USAID's stated goals include providing "economic, development and humanitarian assistance around the world in support of the foreign policy goals of the United States". It operates in Sub-Saharan Africa; Asia and the Near East, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and Eurasia.[/SIZE]

[SIZE="3"]Since USAID is a USA federal government agency, USA used this agency as an effective tool to promote American policies and agenda throughout the world. Primarily it is a developmental agency but it could work with the order and permission of USA government. If USA government give donation and dollars certainly they are coupled with certain USA interest and with covert objectives. For instance USAID is working on multiple projects in FATA and KPK in the name of social mobilization. These projects basic aim is to bring people towards modernization. To meet their objectives of modernization they are working on CPI, HID, Education and health in FATA and KPK.
