[COLOR="DarkGreen"][B]As D8 (developing countries) conference is going to be held in Pakistan now a days, discuss here and discuss every summit of all organisations, like saarc, oic, arab league, etc.

D8 in Pakistan will improve our image in all over the world.[/B][/COLOR]

is d8 conference in pak as important as muslim conference in pakistan in 1974

I dont think so that it is as important as was of 1974's Islamic Summit. the reason is that the D-8 alliance is not as much influential in global politics as OIC is (or I should say was :hurt). It does not have a very large impact like other organizations such as UN, NATO or ASEAN. Having said that, it may prove a bit positive development for Pakistan in present scenario and law and order situation.

When the Heads of other states meet in a country ever something new comes as outcome, Hopefully new strategies and the betterment of international relations would be apparent after this conference. There would be enhancement in trade at least.

The D8 Conference is scheduled to be held on Nov 22 (today) in Islamabad.
