khurram i just wanted 2 say u that there is never a book of precis writing as of idioms or synonyms bcoz precis is sumthing creative rather than imitating.Ofcourse there r many books in d market.Every book is d same.All u have 2 know d basic rules.There no such thing in precis that 2 follow a book.

D best way find good colomns or articles in d dawn go 4 its precis & give a title this is d d way precis is learnt.Believe me this things can do wonders.
