Translation practice activity
 

Dear all,

I am just thinking why not we should start a translation activity in which we post excerpts along with translation and assist each other in finding out flaws in translations such as , grammatical mistakes etc.

How many of you are up for such an activity ? It would enhance our writing as well as translation skills

I think we should share our knowledge regarding different URDU books especially those written by Thinkers and Philosophers. The task would be quite difficult but also helpful because the passages for translation being given in papers, I believe, are mostly from Philosophical books.

hopefully, you are called for interview as Translator.

National unity is of utmost significance in strengthening our nation. Undoubtedly, Pakistan is going through the most sensitive phase in its history. In order to make Pakistan a powerful and welfare state, incorporating national unity in its folds is an essential endeavour. The need for resolving mutual disputes and building unity was never as essential as it is now. Our Western and Eastern borders are demanding our attention. To examine issues of establishing an environment of peace, bringing economic stability, tackling energy crisis, we have to, individually and collectively, display tolerance and patience and work hard towards it
