In the face of troubles
 

The hurdles in our way give us the motivation to strive. Cold does the same, especially in the context of the northern Europe where the temperature is colder, it acts as a hurdle and that moves us to use all our powers. We take different measures to keep ourselves warm. On other hand, places near equator experience warm temperatures. This leaves no reason for effort as there is comfort and not many dangers to health. So, the difference in temperatures and our reactions to it goes on to explain that human beings can adapt and evolve in the face of troubles. Their true potential can come out in the need of the hour.

Title: Impact of climate on human lifestyle

Physical human activity is at its peak in climate with moderately cold temperatures like those in Northern European countries This is in contrast to extreme temperatures which significantly limit natives' will and capacity to remain active throughout the day. Those living in temperate areas have to remain physically active all day as required by their high energy demand. This includes warm houses, heavy clothes and increased food consumption.The situation is reversed for those living in tropical climate as they do not need to work hard owing to high temperature and low energy needs. This phenomenon can also be observed in our climate where physical activity slows down in summer season and is at its peak in winter.

Title: Effects of seasonal changes on the human race
Precis:
In those parts of northern European countries where there are different seasonal changes throughout the year, the advantageous effects of cold are more obvious. Intense cold benumbs the human senses, hot temper requires little body movements and moderately cold weather seems to have a pleasing effect. In the tropics, it is not dangerous to take it easy and enjoy the day beneath a tree all stretched out. We may experience the same changes, as there are between a man and a clime. In hot weather, we are kind of relaxed and show no disinclination towards exertion but as soon as the cold arrives, we have to work a little harder to enjoy the scene.

This is my attempt on this precis. Please point at the errors or give suggestions.
 

Topic: Benefits of Moderate Cold Weather

In the northern Europe benefits of moderate cold weather are more visible. Obstacles that are too tough to conquer give hopelessness while difficulties that are conquerable require our full energies to overcome. Same is the case where cold weather freezes our energies and hot weather gives too less of a challenge that results into laziness. However moderate cold causes an energetic response in people in order to arrange food, shelter, and necessities for survival. Near equator every necessity can be acquired easily because temperature is normal. Author says that we can observe the same difference in ourselves in different seasons just like it is present between the people of tropics and temperate climate.
