Aslam o Alaikum

"According to new Syllabus"
Plz suggest me *best* books for preparation of "English (Precis & Composition)" , after that i do not need to study further books

Mentioned two books for this subject
1) Discovering the World of English
2) To the point English

Which is the best book among these or both are useless ???

Books are never useless.


For english precis and composition, we only need their rules and sample paragraphs for practice. For this purpose, you can consider both of the aforementioned book.

However if you want concise knowledge of precis, you can concern precis writing by R.H DILTON. Its available online.

The book by Hafiz karim dad cughtai is a master peice. Covers almost everything.

Book on English Composition for CSS by Karim Dad Chughtai and published by Caravan Publishers is the one and only "One Book" solution for English n Composition paper.

Can any one please tell what to study from book by saadat ali shah? I have bought it after seeing so many people on this forum recommending this book but i am unable tou figure out what to read from this book as it seems more appropriate for old syllabus and not the new one and material in this book seems a bit our of date.
