Recommended Books or Notes for 2021

Hi, I am going to start preparation for English Preci and Composition, please guide me the best books or notes to follow as there are around 20 books suggested.
Anyone who has passed CSS Paper in recent years and scored good in English, I would be thankful if you can help me on this.

There is no need for a hard and fast book for English Precis and Composition. The rules of grammar such as use of prepositions, correction of sentences, punctuation, and translation are available on the internet. For precis writing, you can take the past papers of last 20-30 years and practice from them.
If you really want a book you can go for:
Wren and Martin Grammar
Exploring the World of English
The briefest English Grammar Ever
