Default Use of tense in precis
hi there everyone.
I have been really ambiguous about the use of tense in precis. Many books say to write precis in present tense but in CSS fraternity, it is always told to follow the tense of the paragraph. Can you plz help ya sis out!

Normally it is considered as a rule of precis to write it in the past tense except universal truths.
