its my humble request to the seniors of this forum to reply my below query.
iam preparing myself for CE-2013 exam.currently iam studying indoor i.e no acadmy or any hired teacher.i have learnt from a thread of this forum that one can't do away with a English teacher.on the other hand,of late,i was confident enough to prepare myself for english at home with valuable books.so,in the light of the above statements, seniors please put forward your suggestions and views regarding this teacher issue.

you can prepare english yourself if you are confident....
but you must need a teacher who can atleast check the essay written by you....because writing an essay, infact a good essay needs skills....
a teacher can point out your mistakes.....etc

you can consult, ''exploring the world of English'' and ''Grammer book by Wren and Martin'', for grammer portion. Above all, practice is a must for composition paper, and for proper practice, you need a teacher for evaluation. So you can ask an expert to analyze your writings to overcome the mistakes and loopholes.

ya ,i think u are right , no one deny the essentiality of the day , how much imported is this language for our education life , but i think to understand something and to gain possible remedies , and approaches on a topic , theme etc one has to opt for a language in which he can best follow his course work., we have a system where we speak mother language , officially claim for urdu ,but have to produce every thing in english ,
so sad , but what can we do ,rather than resent ..

Dear Rabia, i recommend you another book written by wren martin its very good for grammar perspective,, as per concernt with the time frame to join a english teach, i personaly found that its better to join a english teacher as soon as posible because it is the writing practice which is going to improve the quality of english language,So it is strongly recommeneded to join a teacher as soon as posible

regards
