hello everyone..i wanted to ask that should we prepare from the books that are given in syllabus or the other books??
many ppl have told me that the books in syllabus r not enough??so which other books should i use specially for english (precis and composition)..?????

Salam Sister,

"Exploring The World Of English" by Saadat Ali Shah is a very good book for Preci & Composition,,
"High School English Grammar & Composition" by Wren & Martin is also helpful.

ya exploring the world of eng is a v gud book,,within this another book MASTERING THE WORLD OF EHGLISH BY Mirza muhammad yusaf is really a superb work ,,have a look at this also

Default Some Other Good Books!
HI

Some other good books for english are:

1. Improve Your English by J.S.Bright and B.R.Mullick
2. English Grammar by Martinet.

The second book is prescribed in the CSS syllabus too and it's a superb book, rather the most comprehensive book about English Grammar. It comes with 2 exercise books too.

If u are aking about holding passages appropriately in essays thn it is not a big deal. u just need to think before u start the passage. Always keep in mind theb asic idea and go with it by and by. Wind it up in th ned with proper words.

If u are asking for passage holding in qureries then it is also easy and u need to follow the same rule of thumb as i havem mentioned earlier.

Passage holding is an art and u can play ur pranks in this section if u have a smart mind to hold things together in a flow.
