I suggest you buy quality grammar books published by Oxford, and practice the exercises given in the books to improve your English. You must do it religiously in order to improve.

If your english is weak, then go for a book that is taught by the academia...for example this martin walla suggested above...Exploring the World of English would come on the next stage...

Dear exploring the world of English is not for beginners, sadat Ali shah himself has mentioned in his book " This book is designed for those who want to master English" so if some one doesn't know the basics of English he/she can not understand this book....

well i think that yes exporing the world of english is not for the beginners but if you are studying from the CSS point of view i think it is better than the WREN & MARTIN ..............so i wd prefer EXPLORING THE WORLD OF ENGLISH

bt try the WREN & MARTIN first to make your base strong......best ov luck
