Asalamu Alekum all brothers and sisters I am from Peshawar and I got sever need of help about English paper looking forward for reply

Hi,

There are two papers of English, One is Essay of About 3500 Words & the other is that of composition. The Essay Paper comprises of 10 Topics out of which you have to attempt only One Topic. Some time examiner asks you to Write down an Outline for the Essay as well.

The composition paper is also a 3-hr paper, comprising of Precise Writing, Comprehension, Expension of an Idea, Sentence correction, Idioms, Pair of words, & a question on Narration.

Normally recommended book for Paper of Essay is Prof. Manzoor Mirza's Book on Essays. For Paper II i.e. composition paper you should consult Warn & Marten's Composition Book.

Beside this, The Bible of English for CSS i.e. Exploring World of English Grammer by Sadat Ali Shah MUST be consulted for reading, idioms, pair of wrod and direct & indirect.

For precise writing, Abdul Basit Jasra'a book is available, besides you can purchase R.H. Dhilon's Book that is a bit difficult.
