i want u people to suggest me that how i should develop my writing skill and how i should attempt a essay because i have found essay writing difficult for my self.

Salam Bhai,
How should I improve my writing skill? is a question that I myself used to ask everyone. Well so far improvement of ur writing skill is concerned, there is just one choice and that is to write and write consistently. how could it be possible to write well without Practice. So commit urself to write. Now Question as what to write Has many answers. But what I'll suggest to you is to keep ur personal diary and write it daily whatsoever is happening around you. You have to keep ur observation very sharp. See through the eyes of mind with keen observation and then write it or about it in your own words.
You can also write summaries of different articles from a newspaper. Read them, comprehend them and reproduce them in your own words. No matter how good or bad u r writing, what matters is u r writing and indulged in a continous process of writing.
I am practicing myself what I suggest you. Do it and Inshallah U'll see improvement.

hi,
i am new here, and also worried about my writing skill, i re-write the articles from DAWN, and also i write articles on my own, but my problems are:
1. i don't have much vocabulary
2. i write too much, even in my exams,teachers are unable to read my paper because i give very detailed answers. tell me is this thing harmful for css?
how should i cure it? how should i improve my skill?

i am a student of 4th semester BBA hons, i want to start the preparation right now,because i think that will take time to be 100% prepared for the exam.
do advise me whether i am right in my strategy or not? and from where should i take start? thanks

If you write too much and there is no substance in it then no use of writing at all. So, for quality writing, read quality stuff and improve your vocablary. For improvement of vocablary, we used to read Reader"s Digest during our student day. I dont know what the students of today are reading but i am sure RD, Asia Week, News Week and Times magazine are good choice.

first, write on every topic on which you have some knowledge. No matter, you are making grammatical or spelling mistakes, just keep writing. For suppose, You have much information about LAPTOP computers, start to write on this topic and later get it checked from a good teacher.
second, write in short paragraphs
third, consult different means of reading, like newspapers, magazines and etc.
fourth and important, judge your skills and catch suitable words, paragraphs and expressions from different reading material and later on try to use them in your own writings. For instance, you wrote about LAPTOP computers and now search the same topic on the net or anywhere and compare your writing style with it. In short, compare your writings with the others.
Fifth, dont worry about writing short passages. Be conscious about the para free from grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, simple and articulated.

• firstly,Learn english grammer in addition to reading a good news paper,especially the editorials and observe the sentence structure and the vocabulary used.i would recommend the dawn newspaper.
  
  secondly,search for the meanings of the difficult words used in the newspapers.
  
  thirdly,try to use those words in your writing.for example,in sentence making, idea expansion practice or essay writing practice.
  
  and finally,your writing must be error free or with least possible grammatical mistakes.moreover,this practice on the daily basis will make you a skilful writer.

The more u read, the more u would produce.Try to check what u have written by a learned teacher.Do not be discouraged because improvement especially in acquiring language skill is a panistaking and gradual process.Moreove,try to read the standard stuff like dawn news,classic novels(if u have time at ur disposal),time and reader digest magazine.your english will improve by and by.

Reading Newpaper will certainly benefit. Besides this do following things:

1. Take a small paragraph that appear to you easy to handle. Make a Precise of this paragraph.

2. While making precise you will highlight the main points of that para so turn those points into questions & then answer those questions saperately, this will be your practise for comprehension.

3. While making comprehension you will came across alien words, consult online dictionary like this oxford onlike refrence to get the meaning cleared.

4. Consulting a teacher to rectify the mistakes will add more value to your efforts.
