How can I master the art of writing formal English?

aSSALAM U aLAIKUM My all brothers and Sisters I am an Aspirant of Css and will appear Inshallah in 2012.I'm feeling some problem in regard of english kindly guide me because i m in great need of your consultation.My problem is that,by english pronounciation is rather good i have no problem to discuss anything in english,my listning power also satisfactory but the great problem is that i use extremely informal english.As i m going to appear in css exam so i have need of grammeticaly good for this purpose i have studied lot of material newpapers etc but no chance to get any success.
kindly guide me.

Try to write more and more, whatever it may be. Use simple grammar and language while chating or sending messages through mobiles...main reason for spoiled language and spellings is mobile messages. I think so.

Thank u so much Ayesha but why im fail till this time however i read regularly columnss from dawn as well as from news.Im also studying so many books for Grammer but still there is no chance of improvment.Am i right? or its just only misunderstanding about myself.

You don't need to study grammar, you must have studied it in your school days and you would know it well. You only need practice, converting your passive knowledge to active. Just write whatever you study and then check it by yourself and find out your mistakes.

And you are right that it may be your misunderstanding. you may be over conscious about it.

HI dear brothers and sisters kindly help me as i m in great need.i m too much worry about my english,I have no problem to speak and write informal english but i can not adopt my self for formal english is it is the basic key for css.for this purpose i have studied alot but no benefit yet.

WELL Mr.Abbas as you mentioned your problem..there is need to enhance your vocabulary...as you will read quality material,and note the words which is unfamiliar to you....and practice everytime and check it to your English teacher....so acting upon these tips you will feel improvement in your essay and writing power too..

so nice of you brother I have already tried for this but a Secretory advised me to note no vocabulary with yourself and u should to just only practice for these words what do u say?

this is not issue of secretary or king .its problem of yours and you have to solve your problem in your own way according to information and guidance you have.....so copy vocabulary and ,beautiful, quality sentence in your initial stage then after some stages you will be master to handles these problems....initial stages require laborious work
