Tip Regarding Pair Of words.
 

Keeping in view the human psychology and the trend from the past papers, let us have an introspection into the examiner;s mind as to where he does and will choose the pair of words from.
The main focus whenever one opens a book is in the very beginning portion and then the secondary look is right at the end followed by a glance over somewhere in the middle.
Therefore, almost 80 % of Pair Of Words mostly given in the papers are from either starting alphabets or the ending ones.
Here is my guess and keen observation as to where he mostly takes the Pair Of Words from.
The alphabets have mostly been,
A, C, D, E, I, M, P, S, V and W.
One may argue.

Sir Kibzai nice and awesome observations u mentionen. well i am convinced with ur observation but on the some extent it happens. However, most of the questions are being given from the experience of the examiner other than books. Therefore, it is better to have look at each and every word.

Those are very exceptional cases you are talking about. And remember that I have preserved the remaining 20 % for the exceptional portion.

I believe in doing the basics right and keeping the rules simple. To me, consistency matters the most irrespective of the quantity.
While as long as idioms go, just learn 5 idioms a day. It will give you some sort of idea as to what they are really meant for. Because my personally experience says that Idioms are, more or less, a guess work. You can guess the meaning of more than 50 % of the idioms if you have some sort of common sense. For instance, the idiom " at arm's length ", clearly depicts the thing being easily reachable.
And learn the idioms starting from the following alphabets.
A, B, C, D, F, L, S, T, W.
