Cool Exploring the World of English

Respected members of the forum:Please tell me how to cover Exploring the World of English?
I mean whether one should prepare it chapter wise or study a portion of multiple chapters daily?
What is the best way to prepare idioms?
Is EWE enough for composition paper?

there is no need to study the whole book. Just read relevant chapters eg: pair of words, direct indirect , active passive. And other relevant chapters if any .

This particular book is only good for taking guidance for precis writing and essay...for general English which is of cardinal importance in CSS, you will have to go to learn the basics, although it takes some time but once you have firm grip on this lingua franca, you will benefit for your whole life...
i would recommend following books which cover the whole of English and this is a settled fact...
1: A PRACTICAL ENGLISH GRAMMAR by A>J THOMSON & A.V Martinet
2:OXFORD IDIOMS by JENNIFER SEIDL & WILLIAM Mc MORDIE
3: PRACTICAL ENGLISH USAGE by MICHAEL SWAN (As an option to book at serial no 1)

Yes I second Bilal. Exploring the world of English is suitable for precis, comprehension, etc. For Grammar you will have to study other books. In this regard the following books are extremely good:
1.Oxford practice grammar (oup) by John Eastwood.
2.Intermediate English Grammar by Raymond Murphy.
3.High School English Grammar and Composition by Wren and Martin.
